If you come across a Jodel or comment about self-harm or suicidal thoughts within your community, you may not know how to respond. There are some ways you can help, as well as offers of help for both you and the person you are concerned about.

Inform us and/or your local police station

If you have concerns about a person, please let us know by reporting the post or comment in question. Select Emergency as the reason for your concern.

After receiving your report, our team will ensure that the Jodeler receives a support message with appropriate contact points. In acute situations, the responsible state criminal investigation department will also be notified of the incident.

You may also need help

It may be emotionally challenging to support someone in a difficult situation and can cause unexpected reactions. If you need help yourself, contact a crisis hotline or chat.
