Tips for Moderators 🤠
Jodelers may be given moderating rights which means that they can review content reported by other users and remove or block that content themselves
If content violates our Community Guidelines, it must be blocked.
Content should be moderated individually i.e. reviewing that specific comment or image and not the entire parent thread/Jodel. For example, do not make a decision to report the parent Jodel solely based on comments made on that parent Jodel.
Moderators must pay attention to context, purpose, and comments when moderating, but ultimately any content that breaches these Community Guidelines must be blocked/removed.
If there is a more appropriate channel for the content, you can vote to move the post to that channel instead of reporting or blocking it.
Local spam/unwanted content is often difficult to identify because moderation happens at a regional level. If you're not sure if something is spam or not, ask in the moderation channel @moderation or contact our support.
