In rare cases you might see error notifications in our app. Here are most common ones and what they mean:
“You are unauthorized”
If refreshing the app does not fix this error, it is most probably caused by old version of Jodel or using Jodel on two phones. Please, upgrade to latest version of Jodel from the App Store / Play Store. Android users should clear all the data of the Jodel app, uninstall Jodel and then reinstall it from the Play Store - but be sure to backup your data and karma beforehand!
Resetting your phone date to actual time and date (set automatic date & time) and restarting the app might do the trick!
We would also like to remind you that you should use only one Jodel account per device.
“You reached the request rate limit”, “Downvote limit has been exceeded”, “Too many requests”
Please turn on your GPS/location service and make sure it's on high accuracy. Try to connect using a different WiFi or though your phone data.
Such errors appear due to flagged suspicious activity. If it does not help, please, wait an 10 minutes and try again. If you still cannot use the app normally again after one day, please update Jodel to latest version available in App Store / Play Store. If this does not work, feel free to contact our support team!
