You own a new smartphone and want to start using Jodel again? Then don't forget to transfer your account! Here you can find instructions on how to get your account back.
Account Transfer after keeping the Operating System
If you are switching from an Android to an Android device or from an iOS to an iOS device, go to My Jodel > More (top left cog) and activate Account Synchronization.
As soon as you log in with the same account data (Google account / iCloud) on the device and in the app, your Jodel account will be transferred along with the following content:
- your Karma as well as your votes,
- your published Jodels and replies
Please note that chats are not included in an account transfer and therefore cannot be transferred or restored!
Account transfer after changing the Operating System
If you have changed, for example, from an Android to an iOS device, you cannot carry out the transfer on your own. In this case, you will need to contact the HQ and, if possible, provide the following info:
- Complete client info of your old smartphone
- Complete client information of your new smartphone
If you bought the smartphone used and in the unlikely case the account of the previous owner still exists, delete it before sending us the above information!
